WB Board Exam 2021 No Pre Boards for Students in WB of Class 10 Class 12

KOLKATA: Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinees would not have to appear for selection tests this academic session as the students could not attend school due to the pandemic, chief minister Mamata Banerjee announced on Wednesday after the state cabinet meeting in Nabanna. These students will be allowed to appear for Madhyamik (Class 10) and Uchcha-Madhyamik (Class 12) exams directly. The CM also indicated that Madhyamik, which is usually held in February, and HS in March, were likely to be postponed. The syllabus reform committee, Madhyamik board and HS Council are also yet to inform candidates about reducing the syllabus, based on which the board exams will be conducted.

               She also said that the Cabinet agreed to immediately initiate the recruitment process to fill up vacancies of 16,500 school teachers’ posts from the 20,000 candidates who have cleared the Teacher Eligibility Test(TET) examinations. Interviews will start in December and the entire recruitment process will be completed by January.
